"Individually responsible for employment related claims arising out of an investigation, EEOC charges 
and State and local agencies. Additionally, responsible for administering the grievance and progressive discipline processes and leading  contract negotiations."

The company had recently experienced a large number of labor grievances, as well as an increased number of employees on workers compensation restrictions. The company wanted to resolve the issue, but the labor union was resistant to implementing modified duty assignments to injured workers.

Met with union leadership and reviewed the high number of injuries. Led a committee to review all policies and procedures pertaining to safety and injuries. Contracted the company’s insurance provider to identify specific work hazards. Used insurance information to leverage union participation in modifying work assignments.

$6,000 in savings immediately seen by collaborating and negotiating with union personnel.
